Engineering Lead Platform

Wingspan Networks, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Lead Platform to design, develop, and optimize scalable software solutions, lead cross-functional teams, and contribute to engineering culture. The role involves managing complex projects, participating in agile processes, and mentoring engineers.

Location: New York, NY

Salary: $185,000 to $193,930 annually

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality, scalable software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless project delivery.
• Continuously improve and optimize existing software systems.
• Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
• Share knowledge, mentor new engineers, and participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3 years of postbaccalaureate experience in Software Engineering.
• Experience managing complex projects end-to-end.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies (unit, integration, system testing).
• Experience with back-end programming language including Typescript.
• Ability to translate broad product requirements into technical specifications and lead a team of engineers.
