Gartner Analysts are industry thought leaders who create insights, market predictions, and best practices for leading organizations, serving as credible voices within their market at local, regional, and global levels. They engage with clients through meetings and conferences to discuss complex challenges and offer recommendations.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $148,000–$175,500/yr

Responsibilities

• Create unique, defensible, and highly consumable business and technology insights addressing AI priorities of finance leaders.
• Serve as a leading authority on finance AI topics, including use cases, pilots, governance, vendor landscape, and impact on finance.
• Stay abreast of external AI trends relevant to finance audiences and create innovative insights.
• Develop new insights and ideas through thought leadership and offer actionable approaches to clients.
• Identify root causes of client barriers and reframe thinking to drive strategy.
• Demonstrate thought leadership and establish insights positions across a team of analysts.
• Research, analyze, and predict market trends to provide actionable insights.
• Provide clients with actionable advice via virtual or face-to-face interactions.
• Create and deliver high-value presentation materials for events and client briefings.
• Support sales by providing market insights and content to drive client engagement.
• Provide peer review of content.
• Build credibility as an industry expert and represent Gartner insights and methodology.
• Participate in research discussions and collaborate with peers.
• Identify research process improvements or develop new processes.
• Mentor and support junior team members.
• Actively seek to help clients engage with Gartner insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in finance and technology, with 3+ years in AI for finance.
• Exposure to major finance processes, data sources, and technologies.
• Experience with deployment of AI in tools and development of AI solutions.
• Knowledge of data science, analytics, statistics, and coding languages (preferably Python).
• Ability to establish credibility with executives.
• Strong organizational, research, writing, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in data analysis and applying patterns and frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex concepts simply.
• Subject matter expert with presentation experience.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Deep knowledge of the global market landscape.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
• Learning agility and navigation of matrixed environments.
• Ability to represent Gartner’s research methodology effectively.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
