Financial Controller

Searadar is a fast-growing international yacht charter marketplace with a remote-first team, seeking a detail-oriented Financial Controller to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial operations.

Location: Remote

Responsibilities

• Prepare commission invoices to charter companies and issue credit notes when required.
• Reconcile charter invoices against bookings and CRM data.
• Process bank statements, classify transactions, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly P&L and cash-based management reporting.
• Maintain monthly plan vs. actual reporting and support annual reporting cycles.
• Reconcile data across accounting, banking, CRM, and internal reporting systems.
• Maintain the corporate financial document repository.
• Support investor and management requests by preparing financial information and reports.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies across financial systems and operational data.
• Continuously improve financial reporting processes and internal controls.

Requirements

• Fluent Russian (written and spoken).
• Working English (Intermediate or higher).
• Experience in financial controlling, bookkeeping, management accounting, or financial operations.
• Strong understanding of reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Experience working with bank statements and financial documentation.
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
• High attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Ability to work independently and solve operational financial issues.
