Lightly AG is a pioneering company in machine learning and computer vision, working on AI-generated weather forecasting and event analysis. They are seeking experienced Weather & Meteorology Subject Matter Experts to evaluate weather data and events.
Location: Zurich
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated weather and climate analysis.
- Verify weather events against historical records.
- Assess the impact of weather events on downstream systems.
Requirements
- Background in meteorology, atmospheric science, climate science, or environmental science.
- Ability to verify weather events against historical records.
- Familiarity with US city-level weather data (temperature, humidity, precipitation, wind, pressure, cloud cover).
- Understanding of how weather events impact energy demand, agriculture, transportation.
- Strong analytical and written communication skills in English.
