Full-Stack Engineering Lead

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-powered tools and automations for internal processes.
• Evaluate AI and software engineering solutions for added value.
• Design async processing pipelines and scalable backend systems.
• Oversee engineering work, ensure best practices, and contribute to frontend development.
• Drive technical decision-making on performance and system design.
• Lead technical documentation, sprint planning, and delivery.
• Partner with product managers and designers to define solutions.
• Lead client conversations on technical strategy.
• Present work during demos and reviews.
• Mentor engineers and foster an inclusive engineering culture.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional engineering experience.
• English proficiency.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM integration patterns.
• Ability to take vague briefs and deliver systems independently.
• Experience with end-to-end system building, especially internal tools or automation platforms.
• Experience with access control, data sensitivity, and API gateway patterns.
• Proficiency in Python and Java, with Kotlin a plus.
• Strong knowledge of React, NextJS, and TypeScript.
• Backend experience with APIs, databases, cloud services, and distributed systems.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture and inter-service communication.
• Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to make trade-offs and design scalable solutions.
• Comfort with uncertainty and complex scope.
