Fund Formation Associate Attorney position at a highly respected Am Law firm, focusing on investment funds and representing sponsors, investors, and fund managers in complex private investment fund matters.

Location: Palo Alto or San Francisco

Salary: $235k–$310k

Requirements

2–4 years of experience advising clients on private investment fund formation and related sponsor-side transactions.
Experience working on fund formation matters from inception through closing, as well as exposure to sponsor-level and secondary transactions.
2–4 years of private investment fund formation experience at a national or international law firm.
Experience representing sponsors and investors in private investment funds.
Experience handling fund formation transactions and sponsor-level matters involving general partner and management company entities.
Exposure to secondary transactions involving limited partner and/or portfolio company interests.
Strong drafting, organizational, and analytical skills.
Excellent academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school.
