The Climate Mitigation Intern performs research and project assistance on clean energy and decarbonization programs in support of The Nature Conservancy’s mitigation, clean energy and conservation strategy goals as part of the Climate Mitigation team in New York State.

Salary: $20.00/hourly
Responsibilities
- Works under close or infrequent supervision.
- Work with Director and other NY staff on drafting responses to various climate/clean energy regulatory proceedings on behalf of the NY Division and beyond.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- Enrolled in a graduate program with an emphasis on clean energy and climate change; familiarity with New York State preferred.
- Experience conducting research and synthesizing information.

Additional Information
- This will be a Fall internship.
- The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is $20.00/hourly, applicable to candidates in the USA. Pay outside the USA will be in local currency based on the local labor market.
