Inventory Planner

Grove Collaborative is seeking an Inventory Planner to manage replenishment planning for a high-SKU, fast-moving eCommerce environment, leveraging AI-powered tools and modern planning platforms.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $75,000-90,000

Responsibilities

• Demand-Driven Replenishment: Evaluate sales forecasts and execute inventory purchases using AI-powered demand forecasting platforms, with manual judgment when necessary.
• Planning Systems Ownership: Maintain supplier configurations and replenishment parameters within planning and ERP systems, improving forecast accuracy.
• Inventory Performance & Analytics: Monitor key KPIs, build reports, and recommend actions using analytics tools.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Merchandising, Marketing, and suppliers to manage inventory and forecast commitments.
• Order Management: Track orders from PO submission to receipt, and recommend stock transfers based on demand signals.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead ongoing improvements in planning systems, data quality, and automation opportunities.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of inventory planning and procurement experience in a high-velocity DTC or eCommerce environment.
• Hands-on experience with demand forecasting platforms such as Relex, Toolio, Anaplan, or equivalent.
• AI fluency in inventory workflows, including demand sensing, automated replenishment, anomaly detection, and scenario modeling.
• Advanced Excel skills; Looker or similar BI tools preferred.
• Proven success in managing core inventory metrics like in-stock rate, turn, weeks of supply, forecast accuracy, and aged inventory reduction.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills.
