Salary: $134,000–$168,000 USD

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-caliber engineering team and scale as the business grows.
• Perform personnel management tasks including performance reviews, mentoring, and career planning.
• Manage team morale and collaborate with engineering leadership.
• Train new engineers on best practices, standards, and culture.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and agile team environment.
• Coordinate with departments on employee empowerment and productivity.
• Oversee quality team output, on-call rotation, and project management.
• Manage IT tooling, vendor relationships, and procurement.
• Improve team productivity and refine agile processes.
• Investigate and evangelize good engineering practices.
• Design and own technical solutions for complex requirements.
• Align team work with business and engineering priorities.
• Collaborate with Security on roadmap and priorities.

Additional Information

• Typically, 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• 3+ years leading IT engineers remotely.
• 5+ years deploying and managing enterprise technology.
• Experience in end user support and agile ceremonies.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

• Compensation in the US: $134,000–$168,000 USD, in Canada: $119,000–$149,000 CAD.
