Lead Software Engineer

US Service Animals and Dog Academy are hiring a Team Lead / Sr. Software Engineer to lead, guide, and mentor developers in building scalable web and mobile applications, with a focus on PHP, AWS, and architectural decisions.

Location: Remote

Salary: $150,000-180,000/year

Responsibilities

• Leading team and executing software development/delivery
• Writing clean, well-documented code and holding others accountable
• Coaching engineers to improve skills and performance
• Establishing code standards and best practices
• Partnering with product teams to design robust, secure, and scalable software

Requirements

• Expertise in PHP, specifically with LiveWire and Filament
• Expertise in building applications in the Cloud (AWS)
• Expertise in making sound Architectural decisions for B2C and B2B enterprise applications
• Fluency in Agile methodologies and iterative development
