Manager, Global Trade Licensing

Raytheon is seeking a Manager, Global Trade to support export/import licensing activities within their Air & Space Defense Systems business, focusing on compliance with ITAR and EAR regulations.

Location: US-MA-WOBURN-WB2 ~ 225 Presidential Way ~ GODDARD BLDG

Salary: $107,500–$204,500/yr

Responsibilities

• Serve as Empowered Official.
• Provide export/import licensing guidance and license portfolio management guidance.
• Support the business with developing export/import licensing strategies to enable business growth.
• Use Subject Matter Expert (SME) in ITAR and EAR Export Authorizations requirements.
• Review, prepare, submit, and manage various Export/Import Authorizations to authorize the transfer of regulated hardware, technical data, software, and services.
• Review and approve export transactional requests involving engineering support services, meetings, employee travel, visitor access, technical data/defense service exports, and hardware exports.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and support to SIM personnel on export licensing and compliance needs.
• Assist with investigations and reviews of possible GT escapes and disclosures.

Requirements

• Typically requires University Degree and minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
• Experience in drafting and submitting Department of State and/or Department of Commerce license and agreement applications and other authorization requests.
• Experience with DECCS, SNAP-R, OCR EASE, and/or other automated licensing and compliance systems and/or resources.

Additional Information

• This is an export licensing position, not a shipping and logistics position.
• Requires experience in ITAR / EAR licensing.
• Position is remote with periodic travel to Woburn, MA.
• Requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
