The Manager, Strategic Operations at Epistemix supports the leadership team by maintaining operational systems, managing internal processes, and coordinating strategic initiatives to ensure disciplined execution and organizational effectiveness.

Location: Remote (US)

Responsibilities

  • Support the COO in designing and maintaining internal organizational systems, playbooks, and frameworks.
  • Maintain key internal resources for visibility and navigation of information and processes.
  • Lead internal initiatives, improve operational practices, and refine internal resources.
  • Oversee day-to-day management of technology systems, including access, licensing, and infrastructure.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely resolution of technology issues.
  • Coordinate data protection, backups, and security practices for technology systems.
  • Maintain financial visibility, monitor spending, and support budget discipline.
  • Oversee expense and travel processes, ensuring transparency and organization.
  • Support the COO in coordinating board and leadership meetings, preparing materials, and responding to inquiries.
  • Assist in prioritizing leadership schedules and managing organizational milestones and events.
  • Support high-priority projects and initiatives led by the COO and leadership team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in Strategic Operations, Business Ops, or high-level operational support in a high-growth startup.
  • Ability to lead complex projects and drive team adoption.
  • Experience in software implementations and organizational change management.
  • Managing hardware logistics, software licenses, and troubleshooting.
  • 2+ years in a Series A or Series B stage company.
  • Experience building databases, wikis, and project management hubs in Notion or similar software.
  • Comfort with accounting, budget tracking, and platforms like Ramp.
