DF Booking Recruitment Services is offering a Neonatal Fellow (Advanced Training) position in Australia, ideal for experienced doctors seeking advanced neonatal and perinatal medicine training with international exposure.
Location: Parkville, Australia
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care in neonatal intensive care units (NICU) as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Participate in the management of high-risk newborns and complex neonatal cases
- Perform and support commonly required neonatal procedures
- Contribute to teaching, mentoring, and supervision of junior medical staff
- Engage in specialist neonatal and perinatal clinics
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and clinical governance activities
- Support research, education, and continuous learning within the department
Requirements
- Primary medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
- Eligibility for or current registration with the relevant Australian medical regulatory authority
- Completion of written and clinical fellowship examinations (or equivalent international qualification)
- Minimum of 12 months' experience in a tertiary-level neonatal intensive care setting
- Demonstrated competency in neonatal procedures and acute care management
- Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, research, and clinical excellence
