OpenStack Cloud Engineer (DevOps)

Seeking a cloud support engineer with expertise in Linux, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Helm, and Ansible to support Atmosphere's cloud products and internal CloudOps team. The role involves troubleshooting complex cloud environment issues and providing high-level customer support.

Location: Remote (Americas)

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers and internal CloudOps team via phone, ticketing, and remote sessions.
• Investigate and resolve complex problems related to Atmosphere's products.
• Contribute to and maintain the knowledge base, sharing lessons learned.
• Handle support cases in accordance with SLA to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of cloud architecture and principles.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and Ceph or other storage platforms.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Background check required.
