Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Specialist - Remote

Hiring a PPC Specialist to support a growing paid search team, working closely with the PPC Manager to manage Google Ads and Microsoft Ads accounts, analyze performance, build campaigns, review call tracking data, optimize ad assets, and support client reporting. Suitable for someone early in their digital marketing career with some PPC experience or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to contribute to proposals for potential clients.
  • Plan, create, and launch paid campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Structure ad groups, set bidding strategies, and configure targeting parameters aligned with campaign objectives.
  • Write compelling ad copy for ads and extensions.
  • Manage campaign budgets and pacing to ensure spend is allocated efficiently throughout the month.
  • Conduct keyword research using Google Keyword Planner.
  • Build and maintain negative keyword lists to eliminate irrelevant traffic and reduce wasted spend.
  • Define and refine audiences for precise targeting.
  • Monitor keyword performance and adjust match types, pauses, and optimizations based on data insights.
  • Design and run A/B tests on ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, and audience segments.
  • Continuously optimize Quality Score, Ad Rank, CTR, CPC, CPA, and conversion rate.
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Identify underperforming campaigns and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Set up and maintain conversion tracking through Google Tag Manager.
  • Stay current with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads platform updates, beta features, and algorithm changes.

Requirements

  • Interest in PPC, paid search, and digital marketing.
  • Some experience with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, GA4, GTM, CallRail, or spreadsheets preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with data and performance metrics.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and receive feedback.
  • Organized and reliable.
  • Able to manage recurring tasks across multiple clients.
  • Self-motivated and eager to grow.
