Personal Care Specialist - 12 Months Contract

Join Cencora as a patient support specialist, providing expert guidance and support to patients through their medication journey, ensuring timely access and coverage.

Location: Remote (Canada - Quebec)

Salary: $48,500 - 74,690 CAD

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for patients, guiding them through reimbursement, copay management, and pharmacy coordination.
• Communicate directly with patients to gather information, educate on program services, and empower them to navigate their therapy.
• Coordinate and maintain prescription coverage and renewals, interacting with pharmacies, insurance companies, and partners.
• Collaborate with Field Case Managers and care network for onboarding and ongoing support.
• Adapt services for diverse clinic and pharmacy models, connecting with pharmacy teams and biologic coordinators.
• Anticipate challenges, problem-solve, and provide tailored guidance.
• Manage adverse event reporting and support additional program duties.

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and French (asset, required for Quebec)
• Experience in customer service setting
• Post-secondary education certificate, diploma, or degree (preferred)
• Experience in reimbursement, call center/pharmaceutical industry, health insurance, or clinical support (asset)
• Knowledge of medical information, CRM systems (Salesforce), and pharmacy operations (preferred)
