The Process Improvement & Standards Manager will lead a cross-functional team to enhance business performance through metrics, problem solving, and process improvements, with a focus on operational excellence and Lean methodologies.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $81,400–$135,000/yr

Responsibilities

  • Define, design and implement a performance scorecard framework that cascades goals from leadership to front-line teams.
  • Translate strategic objectives into KPIs, targets, and behaviors; ensure ownership and cadences.
  • Build dashboards and visual management tools for performance transparency.
  • Establish data governance and metric definitions.
  • Create and manage a pipeline of analytics and improvement projects aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Define processes for analytics intake, prioritization, and project handoff.
  • Oversee analytics delivery and translate findings into actionable plans.
  • Track ROI and benefits of projects.
  • Lead the rollout of Leader Standard Work and daily management practices.
  • Facilitate and sponsor Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs), Kaizen events, and problem-solving training.
  • Develop and deliver curricula for problem-solving and Lean methodologies.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data analysts and improvement practitioners.
  • Coach leaders and team members in root-cause analysis and countermeasure implementation.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain talent.
  • Partner with leadership to align priorities and manage change.
  • Support operational analyses and ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in operational excellence/continuous improvement and data analytics.
  • 3+ years managing or leading teams.
  • Experience creating and operating cascading scorecards, dashboards, and KPIs.
  • Strong analytical skills with tools like SQL, Excel, Power BI/Tableau; Python/R preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or equivalent; experience facilitating Kaizen/RIEs.

Additional Information

  • This position is remote with occasional travel up to 10%.
  • The salary range is $81,400 to $135,000, based on experience.
  • Bonus eligible.
