This is a remote bookkeeping and accounting role supporting large-scale hospitality projects for interior design studios, focusing on budget management, expense tracking, and financial accuracy.

Responsibilities
- Track 100+ line-item budgets, manage expense tracking, and monitor accounts payable and receivable for large-scale projects.
- Manage RFQs, extract vendor pricing, and translate quotes into purchase orders.
- Track global production schedules, freight costs, and international shipping durations to keep construction timelines intact and prevent budget overruns.
- Take ownership of QuickBooks invoicing and advanced Excel cost reports to ensure financial accuracy and prevent oversights.
Requirements
- Proven background in accounting and bookkeeping, with experience in complex purchasing workflows and maintaining large project ledgers.
- Detail-oriented, process-driven, and highly structured, with a focus on financial accuracy.
- Proactive problem solver who anticipates needs and addresses issues before they become emergencies.
- Tech-savvy with advanced Excel skills, experience with procurement software like Design Spec or Folio, and proficiency in QuickBooks.
