Product Support Specialist

The Product Support Specialist (PSS) assists Ahead account managers through formal technical design assistance of Ahead’s solution and service offerings to existing and prospective customers. The role involves technical design, quoting, configuration, and solution architecture, aiming to develop skills, relationships, and industry credibility.
Location: India
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Account Teams and Sales Operations Specialists to produce bills of materials for customer specified solutions.
- Complete configurations and quotes for all vendor hardware and software solutions.
- Collaborate with Technical Architects to complete solutions performance analysis and sizing.
- Gather Pre-Sales proposals and documentation for Project Transition process.
- Complete pre-site qualification and documentation quickly and accurately.
- Create baseline proposals and RFP responses.
- Train Technical Architects on opportunity and quoting process and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
- Professional communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of hands on experience in a data center setting required.
- Extensive knowledge of one or more of the following data center solutions: storage, networking, Compute, virtualization, data center management / automation, and security.
