Project Control Finance Associate

Parsons is seeking a Project Control Analyst, Associate to support their Defense & Intelligence team. The role involves managing project costs, planning, data analysis, and financial reporting, offering opportunities for growth and exposure to complex projects.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $26.59 - $46.54/hr

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and managing cost control systems to provide accurate financial information.
• Perform planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting for various projects.
• Facilitate development of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
• Conduct data analysis and create visual presentations of cost status.
• Forecast and manage variances, change orders, and provide financial analysis.
• Develop and maintain revenue recognition models, EACs, ETCs, and burn rate analyses.
• Maintain project budgets and communicate risks such as cost overruns.
• Manage subcontract and purchase order activities.
• Generate ad hoc reports for project performance analysis.
• Perform financial analysis to help projects understand their performance and transactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 3+ years of related work experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of government contracting indirect rate structures and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Office Suite, and project management tools.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint and Cognos Reporting preferred but not required.
