Project Engineer, Managed Services

Support and troubleshoot complex systems for clients, providing technical assistance and ensuring system reliability. Ideal for experienced IT professionals with a background in server hardware, storage, and network technologies.

Location: Colombia

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel.
• Respond to situations where first-line product support has failed.
• Report design, reliability, and maintenance problems to engineering teams.
• Assist in customer installation and training.
• Support customers where the product is highly technical or sophisticated.

Requirements

• Experience with multiple types of server and storage hardware, including Discrete servers, Blade servers, Storage Area Networks.
• Experience with Active Directory tools and utilities and VMWare management console.
• Understanding of EMC SAN Storage hardware, network and SAN switching technologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Good English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related areas.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in IT or customer support.
