Senior Android or iOS Mobile Developer - Backbase

Seeking experienced Android and/or iOS developers to join Aequilibrium, a remote Canadian tech professional services company, to work on financial services projects using modern mobile development practices.

Location: Remote (Americas)

Salary: CAD $90K-$130K annually

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and development teams to deliver user-facing products and services.
• Handle multiple projects or tasks efficiently.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Contribute to the development and customization of the Backbase digital banking platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Android or iOS development.
• Experience with Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with Angular development (3+ years).
• Experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bitrise or Jenkins.
• Experience developing and launching native Android and iOS apps.
• Knowledge of modern Android SDKs, fragments, animation, threading.
• Experience with reactive programming using RxJava.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Experience in the financial services industry or professional services, especially with Backbase digital banking platform.
