Bureau Veritas is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead sales activities, develop client proposals, and drive market growth in the testing, inspection, and certification industry. The role involves client communication, sales forecasting, and strategic planning.
Location: Remote
Salary: $85K-$110K
Responsibilities
- Coordinates all sales activities with the client, developing proposals and quotations, recommending solutions, and collaborating with headquarters to price quotations.
- Ensures proper flow of information to clients about products and services.
- Maintains regular contact with key clients, visiting primary customers as appropriate.
- Discusses client needs and evaluates future projects, collecting market data for sales decisions.
- Ensures courteous and professional communication with clients.
- Inputs data into Salesforce in a timely manner.
- Coordinates planning and scheduling of work with clients.
- Develops and submits sales forecasts to achieve growth goals.
- Provides input into monthly sales reports.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales.
Requirements
- College degree
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Adobe, and other computer skills
- Effective team working abilities
- Self-motivated, personable, detail-oriented, with high regard for meeting deadlines
- Salesforce experience
- Sales and servicing experience with industrial clients, deep knowledge of TIC industry standards
- Demonstrated commercial sales experience
- Previous experience in management systems industry
