Senior Large Language Model (LLM) Operations Engineer

N-Power Medicine aims to establish a new paradigm in drug development by reinventing the ‘how’ and transforming clinical trials through better integration with clinical practice, ensuring broader participation by physicians and patients. They are building a multidisciplinary team with expertise in healthcare, engineering, technology, and regulatory fields, focused on bringing better therapies to patients faster.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $165,000–$205,000

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable AI infrastructure, including HITL paradigms.
• Lead design and implementation of core MLOps components for LLMs, including CI/CD, monitoring, and feedback loops.
• Define solutions for automation and deployment challenges for AI.
• Ensure seamless integration of AI solutions with Data Science and Software Engineering teams.
• Establish standards for validation, monitoring, and lifecycle management of AI products.
• Drive adoption of MLOps best practices, including model/data versioning and experiment tracking.
• Integrate state-of-the-art MLOps technologies and frameworks.
• Apply safeguards and ensure compliance with HIPAA and privacy laws in model deployment and data handling.

Requirements

• 3+ years in MLOps, DevOps, or Software Engineering with focus on ML systems.
• BSc/MSc in engineering, computer science, or relevant field; PhD a plus.
• Deep expertise in Python and modern software practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Track record of building and scaling ML systems.
• Ability to define and lead complex infrastructure solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder influence skills.
• Proactive, strategic thinker, end-to-end ownership.
