Location: Remote

Responsibilities

• Build, transform, and operate complex WAN, LAN, and WLAN infrastructures.
• Migrate and roll out networks, including SDN approaches.
• Troubleshoot and analyze network issues to prevent bottlenecks.
• Manage incidents, changes, and problems following ITIL standards.
• Design and document network architectures, SOPs, and operational models.
• Advise on new technologies, including manufacturer comparisons and roadmapping.
• Take on project responsibilities if desired.

Requirements

• Experience with WAN: Routing, MPLS, IPsec, DMVPN, SD-WAN, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
• Knowledge of LAN: Switching, VLAN & Trunking (802.1Q), Port-Security (802.1X), STP, CDP/LLDP.
• WLAN expertise: WPA 2 & 3, WLAN Controller, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, WiFi 6.
• VPN: IPSec, IKEv1/v2, TLS-based VPNs, Remote Access concepts.
• Troubleshooting & analysis tools: Wireshark, TcpDump, Packet Tracer.
• Protocols & tools: REST-APIs, SNMP, Syslog, NetFlow, YAML, JSON, Postman.
• Language skills: German (C1), English (B1/B2).
