Senior Project Manager - Assessments

The Senior Project Manager - Assessments is responsible for managing environmental site assessments (ESAs) and property condition assessments (PCAs) in accordance with ASTM standards and federal, state, and local regulations. The role involves field work, data compilation, report writing, and client communication, supporting project delivery and quality assurance.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $86,700.00 - $102,000.00

Responsibilities

  • Mentoring Project Managers and Associate Project Managers
  • Conducting site reconnaissance and sampling activities
  • Interviewing property owners, site personnel, and government officials
  • Taking photographs of site conditions and impairments
  • Providing customer service and proactive client solutions
  • Completing project tasks as directed by the Director
  • Conducting research related to scope of work
  • Data compilation and organization
  • Authoring technical reports and supporting documents
  • Communicating project progress and issues with the Director
  • Maintaining team communication throughout projects
  • Planning, scheduling, and tracking project timelines and milestones
  • Providing recommendations and solutions to the Director and clients
  • Identifying and resolving project issues
  • Delivering progress reports and recommendations
  • Responding to scope change requests

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience managing ESAs, PCAs, PCNAs, or engineering/architectural consulting services
  • Experience with Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, HUD, and similar projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, architecture, or related field
  • Current professional licensure/registration (preferred)
  • Environmental Professional (EP) designation (preferred)
  • Familiarity with ASTM E1527-21 and ASTM E2018-24 standards
  • Knowledge of civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering principles
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Comfort with mobile technology and new solutions
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 40-60%
  • Physical ability to navigate sites and climb ladders
  • Positive attitude, team collaboration, problem-solving skills
