Senior Software Engineer - Delivery Tech

The role involves building intelligent systems to optimize delivery operations at Gopuff, focusing on logistics, AI, and full-stack engineering to improve customer and driver experiences.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $155,000 - $175,000/yr

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy autonomous AI agents for driver pay, order batching, route sequencing, and delivery time estimation.
• Develop agent architectures combining LLM reasoning with structured optimization.
• Create feedback loops for continuous improvement based on delivery outcomes, driver behavior, and customer satisfaction.
• Build customer-facing AI-powered ETA models, delay notifications, and order prioritization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in optimization, logistics, marketplace dynamics, or applied ML systems.
• Experience building AI agents, LLM-powered workflows, or autonomous decision-making systems.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and system design.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript, with experience in ML frameworks and data tools.
• Experience with real-time systems, event-driven architectures, or streaming platforms.
• Customer-obsessed mindset and bias toward shipping.
