Senior Strategy & Operations Analyst

Akamai is seeking a Senior Strategy & Operations Analyst to manage workflows for global colocation infrastructure, bridging business, finance, and engineering to improve operational visibility and process consistency.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $112,500–$202,500/yr

Responsibilities

• Defining and executing system requirements and business processes for colocation infrastructure.
• Building, revising, and adjusting models to capture demand and coordinate inputs.
• Translating physical infrastructure constraints into planning models.
• Aligning and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to follow workflows.
• Owning data controls and reporting frameworks for colocation modeling.
• Partnering with Anaplan modelers and analytics teams to translate workflows into system inputs.
• Using SQL to query backend databases, locate missing pipelines, and audit inputs.

Requirements

• 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Business, Systems Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, MIS or equivalent.
• Experience designing structured, automated workflows and data flows from manual or fragmented operations.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making data-driven decisions.
• Proven experience coordinating matrixed teams (Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance).
• Proficiency with SQL and experience with enterprise planning or visualization tools (Anaplan and/or Tableau).
• Knowledge of data center capacity planning and physical infrastructure parameters.
• Strong data storytelling skills to translate complex constraints into recommendations.
