Responsibilities

  • Drive the technical roadmap for a core product across multiple engineering teams.
  • Master the technical aspects of assigned domain, including system architecture, service mesh, and infrastructure.
  • Partner with Engineering Leaders to balance feature delivery with system maintenance, security, and performance.
  • Analyze and improve engineering workflows to optimize delivery pipeline.
  • Translate strategic product visions into measurable technical epics.
  • Resolve conflicts and resource contention across product roadmaps.
  • Advise on scope trade-offs and technical feasibility.
  • Manage dependencies across teams and ensure delivery visibility.
  • Own and prioritize the technical backlog.
  • Break down epics into feasible stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Manage technical risks and debt.
  • Support Agile processes and lead technical aspects of planning and refinement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Owner, Sr. Technical Analyst, or Technical Lead/Engineer transitioning into product management.
  • Proven experience managing multiple Product Managers or product lines.
  • Ability to understand system architecture diagrams, API specifications, database schemas, and CI/CD principles.
  • Expertise in modern software stacks (microservices, cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in querying data (basic SQL is a plus).
  • Command of Jira or similar tools for backlog and dependency management.
