Software Engineer

Full Stack Engineer role for candidates with 5+ years of experience, working in a fully remote, flexible environment at a disruptive financial services platform focused on corporate financing markets.

Location: Remote

Responsibilities

• Rapidly learn the fundamentals of the application to contribute to system components.
• Participate in continuous development and improvement of the product, including transitioning from Meteor.js to an open stack like Node.js/Express.
• Monitor and improve third-party app integrations, and implement additional integrations as needed.
• Communicate regularly with colleagues via voice calls, video, and messaging.
• Manage own efforts, seek help when needed, and share knowledge.
• Deliver on timelines, learn from missed deliveries, and improve processes.
• Own development from architecture to front-end, ensuring reliable, secure, and user-friendly code.
• Test work thoroughly from a user perspective, document work, and learn from others.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, security, and performance optimization.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of full stack web application development experience.
• Expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and MongoDB.
