Software Engineer, iOS Core Product

Speechify is a remote company dedicated to making reading accessible and enjoyable through innovative text-to-speech products, serving over 30 million users worldwide.

Location: Remote

Salary: $140,000–$200,000 + bonus + equity

Responsibilities

• Opportunity to lead key engineering and product decisions
• Actively shipping production code for the Speechify iOS app
• Work within a dedicated product team
• Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap
• Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture

Requirements

• Experience working on products that scaled to a large user base
• Worked on various products from inception to traction, responsible for engineering the product
• Customer obsession and focus on providing the best experience
• Product thinking and making thoughtful decisions about product evolution
• Work quickly and decide what can ship now and what needs more time
• Technical skills in Swift, SwiftUI
• Experience in Multithreading Programming
• Working with CI/CD infrastructure
• Experience with Fastlane
• Understanding and applying SOLID principles
• Experience with Git and Git strategies
