Solutions Architect, Data Center Buildouts - NVIS

NVIDIA is seeking a Solution Architect to lead the planning, design, and deployment of large-scale AI data centers, focusing on infrastructure buildout including power, cooling, telemetry, and control systems.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $224,000–$431,250/yr

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on data center deployment planning based on NVIDIA’s reference architectures.
• Build processes, partner relationships, and workflows for large AI factory deployments.
• Review and appraise infrastructure design plans for compliance and optimization.
• Ensure alignment with customers and partners on architecture and deployment guidelines.
• Assess operational efficiency, reliability, and readiness of data center components before deployment.
• Develop and maintain a strong ecosystem of manufacturers, service providers, and partners.
• Mentor team members to ensure success.
• Implement quality assurance processes for deployments.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for infrastructure reliability, resilience, and sustainability.
• Collaborate and communicate across teams, vendors, and customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or related field; advanced degree or certifications desirable.
• At least 12 years of experience in infrastructure delivery, preferably hyperscale data centers.
• Proven experience in data center engineering, operations, deployment, or infrastructure management.
• Strong technical knowledge in power distribution, liquid cooling, rack/server chassis, and cabling.
• Proven leadership in technical and project management roles.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills, and attention to detail.
• Strong partnership skills and mission focus.
• Proficient in planning, scheduling, and task coordination.
• Willingness to travel 25%.
