Special Education Case Manager

The Special Education Case Manager is a state-certified teacher responsible for delivering online special education content, supporting students with individualized needs, and ensuring compliance with IEP requirements in a virtual environment.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $49,100–$52,000/yr

Responsibilities

• Ensure all special education and related services are provided as determined by the IEP team.
• Communicate with parents and related service staff to ensure appropriate therapies.
• Develop compliant IEPs, progress reports, and other documentation.
• Facilitate and lead collaborative IEP meetings.
• Use provided resources to ensure accommodations and modifications for students with disabilities.
• Make modifications and accommodations to lessons and assessments as specified by the IEP.
• Ensure inclusion and success of students in the general education classroom.
• Collect data and work samples to monitor student progress.
• Document all contact with parents and interventions.
• Analyze student data to prescribe remediation and enrichment.
• Provide engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences.
• Personalize learning for all students.
• Maintain grade book and student performance records.
• Prepare students for standardized tests.
• Establish and maintain positive rapport with families.
• Support learning coaches/parents with instructional issues.
• Travel up to 20% for face-to-face activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Active State Special Education teaching license
• Ability to clear required background check
