The Special Education Case Manager is a state-certified teacher responsible for delivering online special education content, supporting students with individualized needs, and ensuring compliance with IEP requirements in a virtual environment.

Salary: $49,100–$52,000/yr
Responsibilities
- Ensure all special education and related services are provided as determined by the IEP team.
- Communicate with parents and related service staff to ensure appropriate therapies.
- Develop compliant IEPs, progress reports, and other documentation.
- Facilitate and lead collaborative IEP meetings.
- Use provided resources to ensure accommodations and modifications for students with disabilities.
- Make modifications and accommodations to lessons and assessments as specified by the IEP.
- Ensure inclusion and success of students in the general education classroom.
- Collect data and work samples to monitor student progress.
- Document all contact with parents and interventions.
- Analyze student data to prescribe remediation and enrichment.
- Provide engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences.
- Personalize learning for all students.
- Maintain grade book and student performance records.
- Prepare students for standardized tests.
- Establish and maintain positive rapport with families.
- Support learning coaches/parents with instructional issues.
- Travel up to 20% for face-to-face activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Active State Special Education teaching license
- Ability to clear required background check
