Staff Accountant - MX

Seeking a skilled and proactive Staff Accountant to join a global finance team, responsible for accounting operations, AP policy implementation, and managing trade loans based on accounts receivable. The role requires independence, attention to detail, and experience in financial forecasting and cash flow optimization.

Location: Remote (US)

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Manage AP and AR processes, including invoice validation, payments, and collections.
• Support monthly and annual close activities and financial reporting.
• Assist in audits, ensure compliance with IFRS, and maintain internal controls.
• Partner with global teams to streamline and improve accounting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in a multinational setting.
• Solid knowledge of AP, AR, GL, and month-end close.
• Proficiency with accounting tools (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or Xero) and Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
