Staff Engineer, Software Release and Packaging - RISC V

Location: Remote or hybrid in North America or Australia

Salary: $100k–$500k including base and variable compensation

Responsibilities

• Build, package, and release software that enables customers to succeed with RISC-V and system IP products.
• Combine Linux and open source software with proprietary software to accelerate customer use of IP.

Requirements

• Background in Linux and open source development.
• Experience with Linux system creation tools such as Yocto or Buildroot, or packaging software for other distributions.
• Hands-on usage of CI/CD systems and software build tools.
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation.
• Experience with Git, release management, and branching methodologies.
