Staff Product Manager, Member Experience

Clover Health is hiring a Staff Product Manager to lead member engagement and trust initiatives, focusing on building personalized, AI-driven member experiences to improve health outcomes and operational efficiency.

Location: Remote - USA

Salary: $200,000–$230,000/yr

Responsibilities

  • Assume accountability for team outcomes, articulate vision and strategy for member experience and trust, and define metrics to assess progress.
  • Identify and champion strategic initiatives to optimize member trust, activation, and retention, making resource and investment decisions.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on member engagement, understanding member needs, touchpoints, vendor landscapes, and regulatory constraints.
  • Run an outcome-driven team, align around outcomes, remove blockers, launch, measure, and iterate.
  • Facilitate technical and architecture discussions with engineering on web/mobile stacks, messaging gateways, identity & authentication, and API integrations.
  • Own instrumentation, experimentation, funnel metrics, and data-driven product decisions.
  • Drive vendor selection, management, and migration from legacy systems.
  • Build AI-forward member experiences with safe, explainable, and measurable AI features.
  • Mentor and influence peers across product and the broader organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of product experience with a track record of shipping complex, cross-functional programs.
  • At least 4 years of experience building reliable, multi-channel consumer-facing platforms.
  • Recent hands-on experience with AI/LLM-driven product experiences and engagement patterns.
  • Comfortable owning technical tradeoffs, discussing architecture, and making pragmatic decisions with engineers.
  • Proficient with SQL and data analysis, experienced with experimentation and A/B testing.
