SOFTSWISS is hiring a System Engineer / DevOps - Senior to design, automate, and maintain scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines, ensuring stable, secure, and high-performing environments.

Location: Remote (Poland)

Responsibilities

Designing, automating, and evolving infrastructure and delivery processes to ensure reliable, scalable, and efficient system operations.
Enabling development teams to deploy, monitor, and operate services smoothly while maintaining high standards of stability, security, and performance.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a System Engineering/SRE/DevOps/Platform Engineering
Good understanding of Linux-like operating systems (Administration and troubleshooting)
Experience with configuration management systems (Ansible / Saltstack / Terraform / Pulumi)
Strong Kubernetes experience (deployment patterns, networking, storage, autoscaling, troubleshooting)
Design and maintain infrastructure automation for internal Kubernetes-based application platforms
Develop and maintain reusable Helm charts for application teams
Build and operate CI/CD components (GitLab CI templates, shared pipelines, pipeline scripts)
Provide documentation, and guardrails for developers
Experience with shell scripting/Python
Experience with monitoring systems (Prometheus stack/Zabbix)
Comfortable collaborating closely with Python engineers (debugging runtime issues, packaging, dependency management)
English level - B2+
