Technical Customer Support Specialist - Work from Home Opportunity

Location: Remote (Canada)

Salary: $19.50/hr

Responsibilities

• Provide first level customer service/technical solutions regarding client products.
• Build and maintain positive customer relations by offering personalized solutions.
• Ensure requests are handled appropriately by coordinating with various functions within the company.
• Schedule service calls and follow up with customers/clients.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using established diagnostics tools and procedures.
• Responsible for accurate data input using prescribed applications.
• Exhibit exceptional call handling soft skills, including active listening, empathy, and reassurance.
• Demonstrate passion for customer service, ownership of the customer experience, and determination to deliver comprehensive resolutions.
• Tailor communication style to different audiences and interpret verbal and non-verbal cues.
• Answer inbound/outbound customer queries.
• Approach problems flexibly and adapt without compromising outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in customer-facing environments (phone, chat, in person, etc.).
• Minimum high school diploma; technology certification or degree is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent communication and comprehension skills in English and French.
• Ability to type 30 wpm and pass language/grammar screening.
• High-speed wired home internet connection.

Additional Information

• This is a 3-month contract role.
• Work from home in Canada, specifically in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan.
• Schedule includes 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, with at least one weekend day, operating Monday to Sunday (24/7).
