Vice President, Therapeutic Lead - Immunology and Inflammatory Team - Remote Based

The Vice President, Therapeutic Lead, Immunology and Inflammatory, within the Internal Medicine Therapeutic Business Unit (TBU) is a business leader and subject matter expert responsible for leading and growing a book of business in immunology, inflammatory, and dermatology therapeutic areas. The role involves strategic development, portfolio oversight, market intelligence, cross-therapeutic collaboration, business development, operational excellence, financial management, client engagement, team leadership, and strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business growth strategy for the Immunology, Inflammatory and/or Dermatology book of business.
- Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of therapeutic studies, portfolios, and client engagements.
- Maintain expertise in the evolving scientific, clinical, and regulatory landscape for immunology, inflammatory and/or dermatology therapeutic areas.
- Collaborate with other leaders to leverage synergies across related therapeutic areas.
- Partner with Business Development to retain and expand key client relationships.
- Implement systems and processes that ensure compliance, quality, and efficiency.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and profitability targets.
- Serve as a senior point of contact and executive escalation for key clients.
- Mentor and develop therapeutic area talent.
- Engage with key opinion leaders, industry consortia, and advocacy networks.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline.
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 15+ years).
- 8+ years of management responsibilities.
- Deep and current knowledge of the scientific, clinical, regulatory, and competitive landscape related to the therapeutic areas.
- Strong global awareness and understanding of the development and delivery environment within therapeutic areas.
- Proven commercial and financial acumen.
- Demonstrated executive presence, gravitas, and strategic influence.
- Exceptional leadership skills.
- Strong customer management skills.
- In-depth understanding of the biopharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated critical thinking, learning agility and commitment to continuous professional growth.
Additional Information
- Travel up to 50%.
