VP of Delivery

Akka builds the platform that enterprises use to develop, deploy, and operate agentic AI systems, focusing on high-reliability managed services for regulated industries.

Location: Remote – US, Canada, European-based

Salary: Base + variable + equity

Responsibilities

• Customer outcomes, including production health, renewal posture, and reference-ability.
• Reliability management, including SLO commitments, incident response, change management, and operational rituals.
• Leading the delivery organization, including customer engineers, TAMs, and operations teams.
• Customer compliance enablement, ensuring product and delivery support regulated workloads and compliance regimes.
• Providing feedback to Product and Engineering based on customer needs.

Requirements

• Experience running high-reliability managed services for regulated or security-sensitive customers.
• Background as an SRE, platform engineer, or solutions architect.
• Led delivery, customer engineering, TAM, or managed-services organizations at companies serving regulated enterprises.
• Experience with multiple compliance regimes such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP, DORA, EU AI Act.
• Built and scaled delivery organizations through stage transitions.
• Experience with Kubernetes, hyperscalers, and related technologies (GCP, AWS, Azure, Go, Helm, Kustomize, Crossplane, Java, Scala, Akka).
