Workday Payroll Consultant (Toronto, Canada)

TopBloc, a Workday boutique partner firm, provides deployment services and support for Workday Human Capital Management, Payroll, and Financials. They are building a candidate pool for upcoming opportunities and are seeking a Workday Payroll Consultant to join their team.

Location: Toronto, ON (Remote)

Salary: $95,000 – $145,000 CAD annually

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients to implement Workday Payroll technology solutions into their business environments of increasing complexity.
• Deliver high-quality Workday solutions across multiple industries to meet clients’ business needs.
• Define, build and implement HR processes and structure, in alignment with client’s business objectives.
• Participate in internal training and share skills with others.
• Manage a team of consultants, guiding their professional development and handling escalations.
• Utilize Workday experience to develop sales material and scope projects.

Requirements

• Workday US & Canadian Payroll Certification (Required)
• 1+ years experience implementing Workday Payroll configurations
• 1+ years experience in requirements gathering, design, prototype, and testing of Workday Payroll solutions
• Knowledge in payroll checklists, earnings and deductions, pay groups, general ledger, costing allocations, audit alerts, approval processes, and security rules
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Additional Information

• Travel requirement: 25-45%
• Physical requirement: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
