A junior operations associate role supporting security risk and compliance efforts within a company's Security Risk and Compliance team. The role involves cross-functional collaboration to enhance customer trust and security compliance, including managing customer assessments, documentation, and security awareness programs.

Location: Remote (US)

Responsibilities

• Support in delivering responses to customer security questionnaires and technical inquiries.
• Review and process customer access requests for security documentation.
• Update security knowledge base and resources.
• Manage security and privacy awareness campaigns for new hires and annual campaigns.
• Support security risk and compliance projects as needed.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in information security, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), or customer trust facing role in a technology company.
• BA/BS in relevant field or equivalent work experience in information security.
• Experience reviewing and completing security and compliance questionnaires (e.g., SIG, CAIQ, HECVAT, VSA).
• Familiarity with security and privacy compliance programs (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001/17/18, CSA STAR, GDPR, FedRAMP, NIST).
• Familiarity with security and privacy training programs at a technology company.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented problem solver and forward thinker.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand and communicate internal processes.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
