Tutored by Teachers (TbT) is on a mission to advance equity in education by providing virtual academic support programs to schools, districts, and charter networks across the US. They are seeking a motivated Account Executive to help scale their offerings and make a significant impact on student outcomes.
Location: Remote (US)
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans.
- Consult with school administrators to understand needs and demonstrate services.
- Conduct presentations and product demos.
- Evaluate and refine sales processes.
- Identify at-risk deals and work across departments to mitigate concerns.
- Use insights from conversations to help refine the product.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and other teams for onboarding and relationship building.
- Stay updated on market trends and competitors.
- Travel as needed for conferences or partner schools.
Requirements
- Previous administrative experience at the school or district level (e.g., Principal, Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build trust and rapport.
- Desire to learn and grow.
- Ability to pivot and adapt in a startup environment.
- Success in sales, especially in education or service-related sales, with 3+ years of proven success.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or a related field.
- Experience working remotely or in a virtual sales environment.
- Passion for education and closing the opportunity gap.
