Advertising Account Executive, Market Retail

The role involves developing and maintaining relationships with local clients and agencies to sell advertising space and media services, primarily within the TV advertising industry. It requires analyzing market research, creating proposals, and generating local ad sales revenue.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, develops and presents market research and advertising proposals to support client activities and products.
• Assists in developing marketing activities to generate local ad sales revenue.
• Interacts with internal departments to carry out client requirements such as scheduling advertising, monitoring account activities, and managing collections.
• Maintains customer and prospect records and participates in sales forecasting.
• Completes documentation and reporting for contracts, schedules, sales calls, and expenses.
• Seeks new customers through prospecting and sales strategies.
• Analyzes confidential information and prepares reports, manuals, agendas, and correspondence.
• Exercises independent judgment and discretion.
• Maintains regular attendance and works nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED
• 2-5 Years relevant work experience
