The Associate Director, Project Management, oversees and supports the project management team within a medical communications agency, ensuring efficient workflow, quality control, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership support for Project Managers in developing educational and promotional materials/activities.
- Perform all Project Manager duties for assigned accounts, including developing and executing project timelines, budgets, and billing checklists.
- Drive weekly internal and client status meetings, and communicate project status to clients.
- Lead resource allocation, scheduling, and prioritization based on business objectives.
- Assess workflow and resources to optimize responsibilities.
- Maintain high-level knowledge of project status, billing, and timelines.
- Review project documentation and approve when appropriate.
- Coordinate coverage for team members out of office.
- Assist Project Managers with problem-solving, prioritization, and vendor/freelance selection.
- Review proposals and SOWs for accuracy.
- Monitor projects for budget and scope adherence, and recommend changes.
- Support the fulfillment of RFI/RFP opportunities.
Requirements
- 5 years’ related experience in project management at a medical communications-related agency.
- Experience managing >$3m annual brand marketing budgets.
- Ability to attend and conduct client meetings and presentations.
