Campaign Director, Austria

CitizenGO is seeking a Campaign Director to lead advocacy campaigns in Austria, focusing on defending life, family, and fundamental freedoms. The role involves managing online and offline campaigns, engaging supporters, and influencing public debate and policy.

Location: Austria or near the Austrian border

Responsibilities

• Research, conceive, develop, and run campaigns on national and global issues.
• Monitor local and global events for campaign opportunities.
• Support development of strategy, policy, and messaging.
• Draft, proofread, and edit campaign communications.
• Translate campaign messages from English to local language.
• Engage supporters via email and offline actions.
• Coordinate campaign materials and public speaking.
• Establish connections with influencers, journalists, and activists.
• Manage campaign content on website and monitor functionality.
• Train and support campaign team members.
• Build coalitions with like-minded organizations.
• Support petitions and review website content.
• Contribute to strategic planning and team management.

Requirements

• Based in Austria or near the Austrian border.
• Speak German as a first language.
• Availability to travel once a month.
• Proficiency in English (minimum B2, Duolingo score of 100).
• Experience with software tools and adaptability.
• Strong strategic, creative, and analytical skills.
• Understanding of civic advocacy and grassroots campaigning.
• Passion for defending life, family, and freedom.
• Professionalism, self-motivation, and results-oriented.
• Strong teamwork and project management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and adapt quickly.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, CRMs, and project management tools.
