Corporate Strategic Solutions Director - Mid-West (Remote, OH, US)

This position is a strategic role within the Strategic Alliance Group at Compass Group, focused on client retention and organic growth through strategic engagement, relationship management, and contract negotiations. The role requires travel and is based near a major airport within the territory.

Location: Near a major airport within the territory

Salary: $200,000–$275,000/yr

Responsibilities

• Work with operations to demonstrate quality, service, innovation, and value to clients
• Territory management and strategic engagement
• Conduct strategic client interviews and reviews
• Develop multi-level client contact
• Develop relationship and retention strategies
• Support contract extension and re-negotiations
• Lead the rebid process of top accounts
• Manage overhead budget

Requirements

• BA or BS degree required
• Travel up to 50%-60%
• Previous district level management experience in multi-branded food service or retail food service
• Success with multiple client interfaces at all levels
• Strategic thinking
• Proposal and proforma experience
• Ability to read and interpret financial data
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Creative problem solving, Negotiating, Time management
• Industry related experience in contract foodservice management (preferred)
