Electrical Engineer Harness Design And Routing Contractor

Electrical engineers at Sierra Space research, design, develop, test, certify, deploy and improve cutting edge products and services related to space systems, including advanced mission payloads, electronic systems, aircraft, and orbital systems.

Responsibilities

• Routing (3D) or Harness Design (2D) experience for harnessing on satellite programs to meet requirements
• Propose innovative solutions to design challenges
• Attend and actively participate in cross-functional meetings
• Communicate and collaborate with the team to ensure the integrity of harness designs meets specifications and requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
• Relevant experience may count toward degree requirement
• Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
• Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary design & development teams
