Operating Room Support Specialist, VNS - Part Time (TN West)

Part-Time Operating Room Support Specialist role supporting the implantation and management of Vagus Nerve Stimulation Therapy systems for patients with drug-resistant epilepsy, collaborating with neurosurgeons, nurses, and epileptologists.

Location: Travel to hospital facilities, primarily in the US, with limited overnight stays, requiring compliance with hospital credentialing and immunization requirements.

Salary: $60.00/HR

Responsibilities

• Support surgical case coverage during VNS Therapy System implantation in the OR.
• Assist Operating Room staff with product-related matters intraoperative, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and programming of VNS devices.
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, nurses, and epileptologists to ensure successful procedures.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree or experience in a clinical technical/operating room environment.
• Ability to project a positive image.
• Proficiency in MS Office software.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including nonverbal communication in the OR.
• Maintain all necessary immunizations for healthcare employment.
