Responsibilities
- Reaching out to patients to confirm demographic information, provide updates, and confirm delivery of goods or services.
- Communicating with vendor partners, claims adjusters, and nurse case managers about referrals.
- Procurement of vendor partners related to requested goods or services.
- Handling phone calls regarding referrals.
- Providing quotes for approval and following up to obtain written approval.
- Ensuring billing information is complete and moving referrals to billing.
- Processing referrals according to state regulations and workers' compensation guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of healthcare network and patient care scheduling experience or equivalent.
- Strong customer service and critical thinking skills.
- Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create detailed reports and work in a team.
